Why we’re publishing this for free
Most dysphagia information lives behind paywalls, in 200-page government PDFs, or in clinical jargon. Caregivers — the people who actually feed someone with dysphagia three times a day — rarely have time to wade through that.
We sell food. But before someone buys an IDDSI Level 4 puréed meal, they need to know what IDDSI Level 4 means, why it matters, and what happens if you get it wrong. The clearer that knowledge is, the safer everyone eats — and yes, the more likely they trust us when they need a supplier.
That’s our bet: be the most useful free resource on the internet, and the commercial relationship follows.
Editorial independence
This hub publishes information on standards (IDDSI, HK 護食標準, NHS, AHA, JSDR, etc.) that we did not create. Our editorial position is:
- Information is descriptive of what the standards say, not advocacy for our products
- We cite primary sources (the standards bodies themselves) so readers can verify
- Where standards conflict, we show the conflict rather than pick a winner
- Our products appear in dedicated commercial sections only, never inside educational content
- We accept Pull Requests from anyone — including competitors — if their corrections improve accuracy
