Who We Are
softmeal.org is Hong Kong’s first public knowledge platform dedicated to care food.
The site is editorially independent and non-commercial, with professional knowledge support from Hong Kong care food pioneer social enterprise SeniorDeli (康樂齡).
Our Mission
Every day, over 600,000 people in Hong Kong live with dysphagia (swallowing difficulty). Between 30–40% of elderly care home residents require texture-modified diets to eat safely.
Yet caregivers and care home staff often lack systematic training resources.
Our mission: To provide every caregiver, care worker, and speech therapist with free, reliable, and accessible care food information — so that every elderly person can eat safely and with dignity.
Editorial Independence
softmeal.org is published as a free, non-commercial public knowledge resource. Editorial decisions on what to cover, how to translate clinical guidance into caregiver-friendly language, and which products or services to discuss are made independently of any sponsor or supporter — including SeniorDeli (康樂齡).
This site does not sell products, run ads, or accept paid placements. All content is reviewed against international standards (IDDSI, T/SATA, peer-reviewed medical literature) before publication.
